LED help

I got the LEDs put into my system and i am wondering on the 2 metal pieces which is positive and negative. I know one is longer then the other. I was also wondering if there was a diagram that shows how they are wired together. I am sorry if this was already answered in another post. i did a search and didnt come across anything.

I got the LEDs wired and they worked but then something happened and now they dont light up. i have hooked the screen up to the system and when i turn it on the screen flickers showing it is on but there is no light or sound.

They must have burnt out, did you use the right resistor?

ya i used the same one that the book said to use.

edit: your right i just checked them and they are burned out. Do you think i need a better resistor? also does T1 mean the LED is 10,000?
