GC mobo issues

Post by kasar »

after try a different method of wire the regulator board to the mobo I saw at this forum, some of my gc boards stoped to working.

then, I tried wire it back like gamevelver´s diagram (the one allways worked fine for me) but this time still doesnt work.

I tested with lot of different regulator boards and checking individual voltage lines with multimeter and them seems ok, but the mobo still without working

the sysmptoms:

when power it on, the power led goes on, but I dont got video or audio, and the dvd drive dont search for discs.

are the mobo finally crapped and need buy more?

or there is any kind of fuse at the mobo i can try replace?

-thanks-

Mines done exactly the same today. Think I fried the cpu. Used 2 seperate suplies to test the new m+dchip briefly, didn't put a heatsink on it and only turned off the supply to the screen. I left the damn gamecube on all day without a heatsink :( .
