I was going to repair a Mark 1 radica, but the case was completely ruined by battery acid, so I have decided to revive it as a portable. Unfortunately, I have hit a snag. Mouser, the great provider of components, has a large subset of 64pin female cardedge connectors, many of which are for use as PCI-E slots. I cannot seem to find which one would be usable as the cart slot for my portable. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the suggestions, but I was looking for a connector on mouser. The sticky says any "Most 64-pin card-edge connectors with a .1 pitch will work." But, I can't seem to find a .1 pitch, either because it isn't offered or the units are different.
I have obtained almost all my parts now. I have a Radica (from the original production run), a Casio portable LCD Tv (which I shall disassemble once I have a #00 screwdriver), a 7.5V RC car battery, and a case made from two DVD cases (Opened, one flipped upside-down, snapped together. Probably will reinforce it later)
