Looking for an Eeepc

Post by Bay_Wolf »

After selling my original 4gb black 701 eeepc a few months back I have to admit that I really miss the little thing. So, I don't have a huge amount of money right now but if anyone has a eeepc just post what model and price and I'll see if I have enough money for it.

this isn't exactly on topic, but what is it about these eeepcs that make 'em so popular?

This quote from a review on a blog definitely sums up what I believe is why it's so popular.

"Insanely small, incredibly well built, speedy, fun to use and cheap."

Well, I have one, not sure if I want to sell it right now though.

You should save up and get one of those 901's.

Yes I know the 901's look amazing and will be ultimately better but the price compared to a used 701 is just to much.

Yes, I know I have also been looking into the MSI Wind and will ultimately buy it after I save up unless I find a really good deal for a eeepc 701.

I was gonna mention the MSI Wind, but I didn't want to be THAT person. ;)

The Dell Mini E lineup may be worth holding out for too. Especially starting at $299.

Actually a mod can close this thread as I really don't have the funds right now and by the time I do get around to having enough money I will probably just go for a different laptop anyway.
