Update PSP from 3.40 OE-A to 3.80 M33.3 (or above?)

Hey guys. I need help doing this. I want to upgrade my PSP from 3.40 OE-A to a CFW thats like 3.80 or above. Can someone help me here?

What exactly is it that you need help with? The entire upgrade in general or something more specific?

You need to upgrade to 3.52 m33 first, then you can upgrade to whatever you want (4.01 m33 is the newest)

EDIT: Okay thanks. I'll try this once I find my charger.

EDIT 2: I looked at it all and its somewhat confusing. I just want from 3.40 OE-A to 3.52. Once Im at 3.52, I want to upgrade to 3.80 or above.

So basically

Upgrade from: 3.40 OE-A to 3.52

Then

Upgrade from 3.52 to 3.80. (Or from 3.52 to another cfw then to 3.80)

That guide is really hard to understand. I have a phat PSP and want to just upgrade from 3.40 to 3.52 to 3.80 (or from 3.40 to 3.52 to another cfw then to 3.80. If I have to.) So can someone find a better guide that doesnt mention the psplite in it? I dont want to risk messing up my PSP.

wait so are you looking to get m33 cfw? because if you do, you need to make a magic memory stick and a pandora's battery

I dont, as I have a PHAT Psp that has an OLD custom firmware.

You'll need to upgrade first to 3.52 m33. Then to 3.52 m33-4. From there you can upgrade to 3.71 m33 and then so on. The files can be found on Dark Alex's website. Just put them into your game folder and you can run them off of your XMB. If you happen to brick your psp then just search for a universal unbricker if you don't have one already.

As a side note, make sure your psp is plugged into the wall charger whenever you're doing updates since if the battery fails on you while updating, it'll brick.
