PSone ribbon cable

what kind of ribbon cable do you need to hack the PSone LCD screen, like how long does it need to be and etc.... also if you know where to get it that would be great (digikey part number??????)

Ribbon cable? You don't need ribbon cable to hack the psone screen. What exactly do you mean "hack" it anyway? If you mean LED mod it, you just need LEDs and some wire and a resistor. If you want to hack it to accept composite input, well, it doesn't need hacked, you just hook up 2 wires. Check the sticky for the pinout.

It's a 30 pin .5mm pitch ffc.

You can buy extensions from digikey but then you would also need a female zif connector to connect the two together and that is more for a situation where you won't be moving it much.

The best bet is to get the awesome extension kit here:
