Wifi "Jumper"?
Is there any program for XP that automatically switches to any available, unsecured wireless connection? So that if you are walking around you don't have to manually connect to a new network every time you go out of range of the last network.
I found a program called Wefi that manages wireless and allows you to map them for everyone to see. It also automatically switches networks, but I haven't had a chance to try that out.
One of my main uses for such a program would be to use at a relative's house. They have two networks (their house is huge), and so if I walk from one part of the house to another the Windows manager just doesn't know what to do so I have to manually switch.

I suggest a DD-WRT router and set it to repeater.vskid wrote: One of my main uses for such a program would be to use at a relative's house. I'm actually going to be staying with them next week, so I might look into that. I'm just not sure if the signal from one router can reach the other. Maybe I could up their power and solve that problem.Aguiluz wrote:I suggest a DD-WRT router and set it to repeater.vskid wrote: One of my main uses for such a program would be to use at a relative's house.
