an insane idea: GBA as PC joystick

this sounds insane, and it is. I can think of few logical reasons to do this, but I'm gonna try anyways.

now, I have an idea. I was thinking of taking a pinout I've found, soldering some cables to the right points, running them out of a small hole drilled onto it, and running them to a cheap PC gamepad. box it all up, keep the wires on at least one part kind of short, and it might work.

Has anything similar been tested, and are there any other options?

Thats sort of a good idea, espically if you emulate the GBA, just make it USB, not Parallel (if you use windows)

A SP one would be cool. And you could use an old Palm screen to display like CPU Temp, ect like so: reuse your old palm pda as an lcd display

it would be possible to Wright software for the gba to do this as a matter of fact I think somebody already did I know somboady was clameing to be working on it a wile back that a guy thats not be compleatley full of crap always

Make a hip gear like model, GBA for PC in use as a Joypad and a Screen!

maybe you could use the gba-gc cable

Get a GBA to GC cable for controls and plug that into a GC to PC USB cable, then get an AV Adaptor (works if PC has TV-Out)
