What's wrong with my 360 laptop monitor?

I'm hoping someone knows what is causing this problem so I don't have to pull everything apart and or buy replacement parts. I have double checked the power connections to the monitor and it seems fine. Sometimes the monitor doesn't turn on at all. Thanks

If you take a really bright flashlight to it, can you vaguely see the image? Looks like there's something wrong with the backlight bulb or inverter.

What do you use to light the screen because they might just be blinking.

Yes, I can see the image when it's dark. I guess I'll take out the screen and test it in my computer monitor (which is the same model)

It seems like either the inverter is going bad or the CCFL lamp is flaking out. Bad connection, maybe?
