Edit: Request: Making A Handheld Gamecube

Post by Jhack »

edit:

I decided that I want to try to make my gamecube into a handheld :P
So can anybody give me some tips, advice on making it into a handheld?
I already have this ancient screen that I got for my birthday long ago, Intec or something and I'm just missing a single cord that stops me from using it.

Anyhoo, any guides on opening up my gamecube, finding crap, compressing crap, putting crap together and crap?

thanks :-)

You could always give it a custom paint job. :)

It is not junk! It is assorted goods with no current use.

No modchip links. Take it down before a mod tells you to and "warns" you...

How I just love it when people tell other people to remove a link, quoting it and including it in their post in the process. Not me, by the way, try it.

I was planning on editing my post after he removed the link. Furthermore, I'm really getting sick of all of you arrogant n00bs who think you know everything. Your post had no purpose other than annoying me; why waste your time?

Edit: Thank you, Sky.
Edit 2: Wait, you didn't fix the original link.
Edit 3: Now it's fixed. :P -bic
Edit 4: Quoted instead of editing :P -Sky

I think acid mods has some really cool LED mods. (To the memory ports, and controller ports) Here is a simple tutorial to change the jewel LED

why can't we post anything about mod chips? Isn't this whole forum about modifying stuff?

modchips are largely used to circumvent copy protection, which infringes copyright in many legislations. other forms of moddding, such as portabilization, do not violate the copyright laws as no intellectual property is touched.

We try to keep any "shady" business off the forums... I guess for fear of being shut down. :P Light talk about modchips is generally accepted, but links or probably trades involving one in the Trading Post are not. Hmm... dunno 'bout the Trading Post thing... it might kinda slip under the radar, but I would stay away from it anyway.
