psp pandora's battery questions

Post by jayl666 »

if the psp boots from a microcontroller in the battery then how come you can make a battery out of 3 AAAs and it still works. Another thing is what are the 3 pins on the battery positive, ground, and ? (is it a data line) And if all you have to do is set the data line to binary 1 couldn't you just bypass the data line with the positive and not have to cut open the battery.

Ben has probably though of all this and i am way off but i would like some answers, and im afraid to blow my finger off :!:

can't really say much about the other stuff but don't worry about blowing your finger off. Just disconnect the battery from the board before you cut anything and it'll be fine. Heck, if i can do it pretty much anyone else can.
