sony cybershot 2.5 lcd?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

sony cybershot 2.5 lcd?

Post by uptheirons »

I'm pretty sure it won't work for a portable, but it kind of looks like it would

...I just thought it would be best to ask the pros

I was thinking about a hipgear LCD, but I can't seem to find one anywhere :?

search for 2.5" lcd on Ebay. There are a lot of them, like the Zate and the Pustom.

Yes you can use that if it has video in. If not, I'm sure theres a pinout somewhere on these forums. (Other people have used Casios.)

Don't buy it. You'll regret because of the image quality. If a screen is as small as 2.5" it should be at least TFT and high-resolution. Go for Zate screen. It's a high quality screen. You'll like it...

uhhh....not too sure, but it seems like that's way more expensive, considering that it's in another currency.

....or is that not too bad? :?
