SOme problems with a GBO

Post by Gunk »

I opened up a GBO to change buttons to NES buttons, and I must of screwed something up because now the screen just stays black, or it stays really bright and when I play with the contrast wheel I see some lines and can VAGUELY see a picture...any ideas and can it be fixed?

Obvious question, but it has to be asked: Is the ribbon cable firmly attached?

Yes, and I think I found the problem....behind the actual screen this dark cable seems to be coming off the PCB
