I am currently in Baghdad and would like to get a 220v power supply for my GameCube. I don't trust stepdown transformers and all of our power is 220, and my power supply is a weak 110 version.
Obviously we Americans need to get with the program and embrace the metric system, euros, and the omnipotent 220. However, we have enough problems currently in deciding who needs to be our Democrat nominee, so I don't think we are ready to consider implementing any economic or industrial infrastructure plans that require foresight and planning on the level that would be necessary to adopt these superior technologies.
So, instead of waiting for an updated national organizational framework, I am willing to dish out some hard cash, or the digital equivalent in my pursuit of a 220v power supply and someone who would be willing to ship it either internationally or to an APO mailing address, (Which technically still would be international) or a link to a good website that has them in stock and international shipping.
I have searched to no avail, but my internet is somewhat limited to things that are work related. Fortunately, these lovely forums are available to me and help to keep me sane.
