building my nesp

Post by stuntpenguin007 »

Hi I picked up a power joy at a thrift store this week and It appears to have a noac and a pre-built in cartridge adapter, I'm going to pick up some nes games this week and see if they work on it. I don't know it it's worth anything, but I picked it up for $4 and I'll probably wait to see what an ebay auction thats going on right now will sell it for befor I tear it open. stupid me didn't realize all of the hookups (differant controllers and cartridges) I forgot at the thrift store, but oh well it's been there for a couple years now, I'm sure it would be there when I get back.

anyways, please notify me if this is the worst possible noac to use

The cart on it is NOT compatible with NES games. I've got a Power Joy. It only works with those carts. The cables to hook it up should be built in. The only real add-on is a second player controller and an AC adapter.

Out of curiosity, could you link to this auction? I'd be interested in seeing what it goes for, as I have a Power Joy I'm looking to sell.

well the power joy is a 60 pin cartridge slot so maybye one of these would work, but for $20 I would rather buy a yobo nes
