CRT to LED, need help.
I'm sure this has been posted a million times, but God help me I can't find it. The screen I'm using on my retro-duo project is lit by a Cathode tube. In some long lost screen hacking pictorial, ben explains how to go about the procedure,a dn why the LED sucks less amps then the CRT. The thing is, I have no idea how many amps the CRT uses. When i check resistance, it just reads as an open, and when I try to get voltage, it just keeps going higher and higher, I gave up at 80v. Should I just go ahead and do the LED mod, because all CRTs pull way more amps then LEDs?

You mean CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamp).
If you want to measure how many amps the screen draws, its easiest to just measure at the screen's power source than the CCFL.
