PSONE LCD! NEED HELP

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

PSONE LCD! NEED HELP

Post by footinmouth »

Ok, where can I find a decent Psone Lcd Screen to use for mt Psonep project? on eBay and amazon the prices are crazy expensive, I'm going to Toronto this weekend, i might find on there but in the mean time I would like some suggestions as to where on the net, one can buy a psone LCD Screen that is below $ahundredmillion or $40. Please help! I also need a cheap but lightweight wtih good playing time battery. Right now I'm using six cheap (nexxtech) NimH batteries and they only make my psone with guardians crusade run for 2 seconds! my battery charger only charges 2 batteries at a time and takes nearly a year to charge the 1.2 volt batteries with 1.4 volts! (ridiculous eh?)   :!:

look for a zenith 5" gamecube, xbox, or ps2 screen. they are the exact same screen as the psone, and can often be cheaper. do a search in ebay for zennith. for some reason, the guy i buy my screens from spells it wrong... got all 3 of mine for $28 each shipped. not too bad for a nice screen!
they call me the Queen of Bondo, though maybe i should be called the Queen of Epoxy Putty
