psone screen dead zone?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

psone screen dead zone?

ok so i got my psone screen from a used game store with no power adapter so i never powered it up before i modded it, although was a guaranteed to work. after modding it witht he 3 LEDs it worked but with about 1/2 inch of it, from top to bottom, of a black area. if i leave it on for about 5 minutes it will slowly fade to colored rainbow like line but never goes away. any ideason what this is or what is causing it? or is it just a dead zone
