How do I find grounds

I've been trying to figure it out for a long time

Jump off a building. When you stop falling. You have hit the ground. If you are still alive, take a look beneath you. If you have landed on any combination of grass, concrete, gravel, dirt, or wood. You have not only found ground. But grounds!

Now limp away feeling happy you finally found a way to find grounds!

Its the one continuous trace on a PCB that gets big and covers the entire area that does not have wires. It is one or more of the power supply input pins, and is the metal contact around all of the mounting holes.

Easy way - somewhere on the edge of a board is a strip of metal on the mobo, this is ground. Put one of your multimeter prongs on this and touch other areas of the mobo with the other end (after setting your multimeter to continuity testing of course). on a controller, there are always two parts, one is ground (common) and the other is for the button itself (unique) - you can typically see the trace on the board; when you see two green lines connecting to at least two halves of a button contact, that will be ground. Use above technique then to find the others you need.
