PsOne Intec Screen

Hello, I am new to all this so please excuse my ignorance. I have decided to make a snes portable and have all the major electric parts that is i though i did. I was led to believe that i ordered the psone lcd made by sony but in actuality it is made by Intec. So i was wondering if this screen is still suitable to use and if it is, is the diagram in the book going to apply to the Intec Screen. egoo33 - welcome to the forum.

It is always nice to have a courteous member (not all are here), so I am sure you will receive all the assistance you require.

If you don't get the pinout by searching this forum, all you need to do is use a multimeter to test what wires connect to - ie ground, audio, composite, RGB, etc; then that gives you the information you need. These wires are easy (apart from the RGB ones) to find as many of them are obvious.

A third party PSOne screen should work the same as it has the same connectors, I have a Redant screen, and it works exactly the same (sound is even better than Sony's screen)

thank you guys so much i thought i would be out of luck seeing that i didn't have the actual sony lcd but you know the saying Caveat Emptor. I'll be doing some searching to get the exact schematics of the board and as soon as i get all the odds and ends i can start modding and posting my progress. Look forward to it
