did i just fry my screen? help please

ok so i think i just blew my PSone screen but would like to see if its something replaceable or fixable. in the red highlighted area i accidentally touched my wire (my negative end of my battery source)to both of the leads of that little black thing(a regulator i think) and now the screen will no longer turn on. Is my screen saveable? or should i toss it

I'd search for any information you can find about fuses on the screen. Aside from that, if it still isn't working, then yeah it sounds like you got a fried screen. Sorry.
