Dear Friends,
I got a Snes Programmer from tototek, and i know that i must configure the LPT port in the bios into ECP to use it.
But, now i got a new PC, and they withdraw this PARALLEL port, then i bought a PCI PARALLEL PORT for my new pc... I have configured it well but ... my Snes programmer is not recognized at all...
How can i configure it to work??
Someone can help me??

Two common problems:
1) Some PCI cards won't receive an common IO address (0x378, 0x278, 0x3CB) This can be a problem for older software which can only access these three addresses. Check in the the device manager what your card's IO address is.
2) Depending on the software you may need to install a driver like UserPort or GiveIO to enable acess to the IO ports. If the software was designed for for DOS or Windows 95/98, you will need this. If it says it was designed for Windows 2000 you won't.
Forget about using the burner in Vista.
You might be better of buying a used computer that has a parallell port. But make sure it's new enough to have a USB port so you can use a USB memory stick.
