Dreamcast stuttering problem

Hey gang, I recently picked up a bin of fixer uppers off the 'bay and there was a dreamcast amongst batch. After testing out some of the others, I really wanted to test this one out the most since it was my favorite system. The thing powers up and the everything seems in order except one thing: When the white screen came up it was flickering and the boot logo was going v..e...r..y....s..l..o..w..l..y. The sound was okay just not the graphics. Now does it sound like the GPU is shot or has anyone else had this problem?

The onlytime it happened to me I had killed the clock chip (the chip you mod theoverclock the DC). It's pretty much dead serisouly.

Pretty much, I guess all I'll need to do is grab a new Mobo from somewhere. ...Sigh. I guess if anyone needs a Dreamcast board for some hack job, Pm me for a cheap Mother board.
