A while ago, someone posted a site. Basically what it was was people (nerds, mostly, bad-ass ones) would take old jeeps, like the ones you see kids driving around in parks, and mod them to go very fast (20-30 mph), and it was grand.
Does anyone know the site?
what is the site?

It wasn't this site, was it?

Wow, they've made some changes since last time I looked. (Probably 8 months ago.)
And yes, Power Wheels kicked ass. I nearly drove my old red Jeep into the ground, between overloading it with rocks, towing wagons uphill, and just plain mileage. We replaced the plastic tires twice, and this one time we hooked up a car or motorcycle battery and burned the gas pedal button out. Good times, good times.
Of course now I could go out and buy a REAL Jeep CJ... I prefer the old D200 though.
