Ok, I am starting to get really pi**** at my computer right now, first I spend 2 hours trying to install my wi-fi adaptor after swtiching from DSL to Roadrunner and kept getting Internet Connection Sharing errors left and right, I did everything that they said to do on Nintendo support page, devremove didn't work, removing the adaptor from the Device manager didn't help, rebooting the PC after removing the device didn't help, going into my connection and checking all the boxes under ICS didn't help, turing off my Firewall didn't help at all either.
The closest I got was, after it passed setting up the ICS but then told me to uninstall the nintendo wifireg app, WTF!!!!! it is already uninstalled, then after that I couldnt get passed the ICS error ever again.
Now I am trying to install the adaptor as an access point using this tutorial
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/390312
and while installing the ASUS software, i get a insufficient system resources error but apparently it did install, well then I proceed to install the modified drivers and the USB connector, the drivers were starting to install and I get a damned Installation failed because of insufficient system resources.
Please I am on the verge of chucking my computer out the window.
I would prefer to to use the connector as a access point so when my friends come over, they can connect their 360s with their wireless adaptors.
Google didn't help at all.
EDIT: Well problem solved (Somewhat) decided to setup the linksys router I picked up for $5 bucks and got my 500mhz Pentium 3 hooked up to the internet, and I installed the adaptor on that with no problems at all, just a bit slow because it is in a 1.1 USB port, but I will be picking up at least a 2.0 soon since this computer has an extra PCI slot.
