Post by satan165 »

this figure is labeled 'the front of the lower board and what you should desolder'

the instructions say to 'desolder every highlighted lead'

im sorry....but i see nothing highlighted on this board and about 100 solder points

No its a bad pic... (AGAIN! :x)
Anyway, just go a few more pages and you'll see what you have to desolder. (The pics with all the stuff extended with ribbon cable.)

ok....that looks like 4 parts total?

--figure 4-12 (what is this part? a 'plug'...for what?)
--figure 4-13 (a/v jack....is this to hook up to an external tv? i ask because i didnt think external a/v was part of this portable, tho i wanted it to be badly)
--figure 4-14 (headphone jack)
--figure 4-15 (what is this? a 'knob'...for what?)

be prepared for many more questions/clarifictions

i did not expect to get my book so soon, and at any rate i am pouring over it and taking notes like you wouldnt believe, this suddenly became reality!!

Bump for mass confusion as well. This is the only thing holding me back on finishing my PSPone.

Yes, you can use external A/V. It says how on pages 75 and 76.
