Driver Issues

My Lifebook has had a big issue since day one. No matter what wireless card I shove in the PCMCIA slot, the damn thing won't recognize it, even driverless ones. Okay, I figure, I'll try a driver. I find one and try an install, but every time, for each and every card, the driver installation has errors at the very end, no matter what. The problem seems universal. Any idea what could be up?

Have you tried other types of cards? Maybe your PCMCIA slot is messed up. Or it could be your Windows install, maybe you could try reinstalling Windows using a different hard drive so you don't lose what you have.
