FS: Audiovox D1420 portable DVD player

Everything you could ask for in a portable DVD player: external inputs, great screen, sounds great. But the problem is that this line is notorious for being terrible as far as batteries holding a charge. You actually have to plug it in, watch a DVD first, unplug it, turn it off, then charge it for eight hours. That'll give you two and a half hours of battery life.

But hey, remember the great screen? This would work perfectly for a portable. Or, if you want, dink around with the battery and get it working. It'll take 9V, 1000 ma. The battery's not user-replaceable, but I'm guessing you're not squeamish about a few small screws if you're here...

Anyway, I'd say $40 or best offer, shipping included, takes it. Besides the battery issue, there's nothing wrong with it whatsoever. I'll throw in the carrying case as well.
