Psp firmware woes

Post by DK »

Ok, my PSP is acting up a bit due to custom firmware, I.e i can't set a wallpaper nad none of my ISO's (all my own games backed up, none of this nasty piracy) won't load.

I'm on firmware 3.71 M33-4, tried to install the 1.5 kernel addon and it said something about a missing or unconpatable 1.50 kernal and now when trying to update the firmware to 3.80 M33 it " cannot open open file (0xsomething or other)" . Is there anyway of fixing this without the pandora battery as I now don't have a homebrew enabled PSP or a spair battery. :?:

As for the 1.50 addon problem, you have to have the 1.50 update eboot. If you don't have it, it will tell you that you're missing it. Your problem with updating to the new M33 firmware sounds like kernel version problem. Go into recovery and make sure that you have your game folder kernel set to 3.71. The new M33 updater won't run under the 1.50 kernel.
