Well what has good ole' rekarp been up to over the winter break?

I will give yall some sneak peaks of it tomorrow (1/3/08) before I add it to my website. In the mean time I will leave yall to wonder and guess

Constructed out of a Sega Genesis 2, a 32x addon, and lots of wiring.

Looks like a normal Sega Genesis right?

Huh another power cable?!

Wait! is that a 32x game?!

Why yes it is.

Even has working dust covers!

It's a Genesis sleeper! Nice job.

Is one of the Sega power adapters even capable of running both, or could you find another one that would work once you graft the right connector on the end? Dual power adapters is kind of a pain, and one of the reasons the 32x wasn't widely accepted (the fact that the Saturn was already out in Japan at that point may have helped too).That's the only thing standing between this and true stealth.

The reason why it needs 2 power supplies is because the budget for the mod was very slim and I didn't have the cash to fork over $30-$40 for a 2amp (yes 2 whooping amps) 9 volt power brick. The 32X addon is a power hog.

I love it. A few tips...

1. Remove the Genesis logo and replace it with 32X logo.
2. See if there is a way to remove the dual power adaptor (so you only need one to run it all)

Obviously you don't have to do that
