Game recomendations

Well since I am getting a 8800gt I can finally run all the new games, so Im looking for recommendations.

Right now I have

F.E.A.R.
Unreal Tournament 2004
Halo

Now what are some you guys would suggest.

Oblivion's fun, and so is Black and White 2.

I've heard Bioshock is great, but I don't usually play newer games because my Desktop sucks and my Laptop has Integrated graphics. (It can't even play oblivion, I've only played it on 360.)

C&C Tiberium Wars, C&C Generals, C&C Zero Hour, Red Alert 2. Hard to tire of these games, FPS games are fine but get boring quite quickly (except Quake 3 I think, I still play that sometimes).

Anything with halflife in the title is destined to be awesome and if you can't run portal check out narbacular drop, it's essentially the sae game jst with worse graphics and people make their own levels so the game last forever.

Call of Duty 4 and Crysis are my current addictions, putting even my BioShock affair on hold for a time. Battlefield 2142 is pretty solid if you liked 2, and Universe at War: Earth Assault and World in Conflict are rather memorable real-time strategy games. Gears of War just came out for the PC, too, and it has an absolute assload of new content. Oh, and for those with lesser systems, I just recently picked up Star Wars: Republic Commando off Amazon for a cool ten bucks, and I have no reservations in telling you that it's a classic that was passed by.

No, not really. Perseus Mandate got terrible reviews. Unreal III is pretty, but nothing really new. Halo 2 is about as bad as Halo and Halo 3.

Only exceptional FPS I can think of atm is Crysis, assuming you favor fps's.

Orangebox is a must, but I would rather get it for 360 if I had one.

Hell my 4 year old Nvidia mx 440 that came in a store bought computer would run everything in Orangebox, not on high setting mind you, plus my mx 440 can play Halo at the highest settings possible, and can also run Halo 2 which I`ve read on google. I don`t really see the point in Upgrading your computer with a 8800 when you have a 360 that can play all the games that 8800 can run, Crysis is coming out for 360 also, but from what I under stand, behind it beuty is a dull fps.

honestly I only see the point in getting a 8800 for your PC if you were a hard core PC gamer with no current game consoles.

Just my $0.02, plus you need a decent powersupply to run that card, I beleave at least 450watts.
But I guess Im the only one that prefers a gamepad and analog sticks to a mouse and keyboard.

I just replayed through the entire Half-Life 1 series over the span of three days. I beat Blue Shift this morning. I love this series

Now excuse me while I go play through Half-Life 2 for the sixth time

GET BIOSHOCK.

It's great! I was skeptical, but I grabbed it last night for my 360, it's just incredible. The graphics, the scenery, story, level design, it's all fantastic. The first couple hours of playing, it had me literally scared; a game has never done that to me, even games that are meant to do so. There's just so many possibilities with the combat and plasmid mixing, as well as enhancing your skillset in numerous ways. Just check out the reviews, but I still say get it.

Orange Box is great, too, Portal is fun and TF2 has a lot of great replay value. A good investment for the price, but I'd get Bioshock before I got OB.
