I guess this is more of personal preference. Will you be happy with the 3 button controller?

If you want more games to be playable properly, go with 6 button, if you have more money to spend, then you may be able to have two player too.

well, I'm not exactly sure if this works the same for all games, but on Mortal Kombat 2 when you're playing with a 3 button controller, if you hit 2 buttons at the same time it registers as a different button pressed, e.g:

A+B (high punch) B+C (high kick)
A (low punch) B (block) C (low kick)

Something to look into, I suppose.

I just saw the six-button version that has Street Fighter 2 at Toys R Us yesterday. It has two controllers too.

Walldawg: You might want to cut down the size fo your sig picture, it's honkin big!

And speaking of Mortal Kombat, did anyone else notice that you wouldn't be able to block effectively with bens Exodus? The start button is too far away to get to it in time.

And as for the 6 button VS the 3 button, I would get whichever is cheaper. I wouldn't use the 6 button controller. It's kind of like cheating in games. It's basically just 3 shortcut buttons.

No. If you assuming we're talking about SNES because of 6 buttons and Street Fighter, then let me tell you that Genesis also had these things too.

Man, don't I wish there was a TV game SNES.

Saying "Don't I wish..." means I DO wish. It's an oddity of English. :D
