After just repairing my old laptop with just a vacum cleaner and a toothpick, I was wondering.. Whats the most Low Tech repair you've done? The more Duck Tape the better

Grab some cardboard, a crappy PSU fan, hot glue, and create. Voila! I have my custom GPU cooler.

Too bad, I sold this PC.

Well this probably isn't my most ghetto, but still pretty dam ghetto.

I just did this 2 my PStwo, I had to leave the top off my PStwo because it scratches my discs to hell.

I have an Xbox controller with the back covered in duct tape, because I took it apart, and when putting it back together, I couldn't find the back to it. I'll post a pic later and edit this post.

My room's doorknob is held on with a paper clip. My headphones have tape on them to connect the wires where I slamed it into a door. The holes in my barn have cloth rags shoved into them, same with my basment...actually we recently put some foam in the basment ones...my great grandpa was famo0us for using chicken wire and ducttape to fix any and everything...I made a teepee out of fishing string and duct tape, when I was younger... The old lawnmower has a wooden starter gear in it because the plastic one was stripped by my sister. Umm I think thats it...

(For one of my unmodded N64 systems) - joystick felt slightly loose, character on screen kept moving very very slowly to one side. Opened controller, hot glue on one of the joystick sides (unmodded gamepad) detached, one good blob of hot glue later, controller as good as new!

Computer mouse - pop out ball (I use rolling mice), finger removes gunk, ball back.

Computer mouse - button tempremental - hot glue blob as per first example.

heheh several of you know i am practically the king when it comes to ghetto quick fixes of any sort, and hacking crap to work like i need it to at the time, ssuch as the fuse box in my car being in a plastic crayon box to prevent it shorting on stuff or the safety cable thing on our push mower broke so we removed it and just wired it with rebar ties so we could use it still or the tv we used to have that to get it to turn on you had to FREAKING PUNCH IT, bash it on the top to get it to kick on the stove in our garage is made out of like half inch plate steel sheets welded together and weighs at least a quarter ton! lots more i cant think of haha

mhm, let's see. Well I keep breaking chairs. I had like 6 chairs tihs year, broke them all. I remember having this wooden chair, and I don't know how it happened but it ended up being a skeleton. That means the part where you sit on was just a huge hole. So I took some board, put it on there, and sat on it.
Oh, and on my old keyboard I kept accidentaly pressing Power and sleep, so I removed the keys with a screwdriver, and put hotglue in the keyholes. I need to do that with my current keyboard...

another ghetto hack, i have a ~80-100 year old desk chair i use in my work room and the ancient springs in it busted so i wedged some wood in there so i could keep sittin in it till i get new springs

I put a "D" battery into my mp3 player that normally takes "AAA" batteries. as I recall, I even used tape, as I was in a car at the time

I had a stereo system. And on one of it speakers it was missing a thick rubber like pad in a corner. Which made the speaker wobbly. So I put a stack of old baseball trading cards under the corner and fixed it.

I was replacing the battery in a couple of my SNES carts, I lost the screws for one, so Each cart got one screw and the other side of the cart was held together with duct tape. The carts save now.

I have a N64 controller thats held together by electrical tape wrapped around each of the arms, I took it apart a year or 2 ago and couldn't find the screws, needed it for 4 player.

I can't think of much but most recently I bought a used VHS, and the top flap-type thing with the hinge was broken in half, so i taped it together, and it's still sort of... bendy? but it worked lol All your ghetto mods trump mine.
