In the next couple days I'm getting a TI-89 Titanium because my TI-83 Plus has mysteriously died. I've got a couple of questions-
Will TI-83 games that work through MirageOS work somehow on a TI-89?
Will TI-84 applications (like the Periodic Table that comes standard on the silver editions) work on a TI-89?
What games and programs would you guys recommend for TI-89's?
Are simple things, for example, graphing a function, done relatively the same way on TI-89's as they are on 83's and 84's?
And are there any possible cons to using a TI-89 over an 83 or 84, besides the fact that I can't use it on standardized tests?
Who here has a TI-89?

Switch the case so you can use it on tests. I have a 83 and 89 but haven't used them in awhile but as far as i remember most things were done more or less the same way. As for everything else I have no idea.

Oh crap my bad.vskid wrote:That would require a regular 89 for a more or less straight swap with the 83. 89 Titanium swaps with the 84. I don't know how off the parts would be for an 89 Titanium to 83 swap.dudex77 wrote:Switch the case so you can use it on tests.

The games I want are Tetris, Mario, Asteroids, and some sort of racing game, all of which I have found already. So unless there are others you guys think are worth checking out, I think I'm satisfied.
As far as math apps, the built in stuff will be fine for me. And as far as scientific apps, a periodic table is about all I'll need.
