DS Wifi Discussion thread (Set up games here)

Post by dudex77 »

As long as we can do this each week we'll play a different game at 8 PM New York time through Nintendo wifi connection on our ds's. It might be a cool idea to start a benheck scoreboard but I don't know how we would work that out.

Edit: This all failed but for those of you out their who want to setup wifi games with other forum members this is the place to do it.

I'd play bomberman touch, if it wasn't one of the worst iterations of bomberman gameplay.

Slow, starting with 1x1 instead of 2x2 bombs, it doesn't seem to play as well compared to many other(new and old) versions of bomberman. Its only saving grace is 8 player and online.

Yes I am a bomberman snob
SNESp - 100%
Protable X - 15% - I need money :(

Bomberman on DS - quite like it, as the series goes. Quite similar to the GameCube version! As to playing on-line, no idea how to do that. I don't use wi-fi at home, use ethernet for the basic internet network at home.

I just downloaded it and had yet to play. It's not that bad from what ive seen in the single player match. Obviously no comparison to the Saturn or Dreamcast version but it's not that bad. Does anyone have any better suggestions as the only game I've ever played online with my ds is animal crossing.

Nothing beats Bomberman 64. As for playing over Wifi, you should pick Wifi compatible games. I'm not saying yours aren't, I'm saying someone's bound to come here and say "Let's play Super Mario 64!"

I'm up for Tetris.

Yeah I am too but I think we need to get more people together before we can do this so I don't think we will have enough people for tonight

I have Tetris and Wi-fi, and I'm game.

I have no R4 though, but I do have a couple Wi-fi games.

Mario Kart
Tetris (Duh)
Clubhouse games (Currently lost and can't find it)
Metroid Prime Hunters

and around the holidays I should have Bleach: Blade of fate which I am a fan of the anime as you can tell by my avatar, but this game has got some pretty good reveiws from IGN and other reviewers, plus its got Wi-fi and is said to be the best fighter on the DS.

Though I haven't played the game I can confidently say its awesome because It by treasure! I'm thinking towards Mario Kart, can you have private rooms or anything in it?

are you talking about how you can play against friends on wifi like on mario kart?

if so I'm pretty sure you can, It has friend codes in it so I don't see why it wouldn't.

Hmm... its been a while since I last played my DS on wifi, time to brush up on my skills.

I know this is a double post. I'm just posting to draw attention to this thread again.

Are we going to do this or what? If so, what game? In the words of Leeroy Jenkins, "Alright, chums! Let's do this!"
