360 wireless problem

I set up my old wireless router specifically for xbox 360, and now I cant get on live

. it says that it "cant establish a connection" or something like that. any help?

EDIT: do I need a wireless adaptor? is there anyway I can wirelessly connect for free? I thought it was built in

You need a $100 wireless adapter.

alright, i've been f-in around with 360 for a bit- I have it so a usb-rj45 adaptor is into my PC, and the ethernet cable is going from my xbox to the usb rj-45. I have no other way of doing this. can someone please help???

BTW, jumping in turns out to be a pain in the ass.

EDIT: I figured it out, I just ended up getting another ethernet cable and plugging it into my router. I really didnt want to do that.
