Ps1 portable almost done/help with charging batteries

The case is the ps1 assembly with a 1 inch aluminum side. It doesn't have controls because I hate putting them in. The screen is LED modded with 5 mm LEDs (the ones from radioshack). It's not done because I need to find a way on how to charge the 6 internal nimh batteries. It would be cool if somebody could show me how to recharge them using the ps1 adapter and using resistors to limit the current down to 500ma.

well, in theory this is pretty much just a larger 7.2v rc car battery, so would you not just be able to use a Radioshack (or up in Canada we call it "the source") charger like this?

I figured out how to charge the batteries. I used the psone power source with 3 10ohm resistors to give a current of 500ma (or something around there).

I think that PSOne adapter may be dangerous since you don't know when to cut the charge. Adapters which are called "charger" has a protection unit inside. That automatically cuts the flow when your batteries are charged. Keep this fact in mind.
