since there was a thread about photography, I was wondering if anyone here was into filming. Me and my friends have been into it for a while, but over the last few weeks we have been working on our creation called the dumb-ass movie, starring me. it has no plot line, its where we go to places like walmart and purposely get in trouble.

thats an elmo toddler halloween costume on my head.

anyone else make or have made a movie?

So it's like Jackass Junior then. Interesting.

Me and my friend got bored a few weeks ago and made a movie poster, for a trailer for a movie that will never exist. We just need to make the trailer now.

We're hoping to go for a cheesy 80's - early 90's feel with it. Kinda Evil Dead-ish.

I made a movie called The Anatomy of the Salvatore its pretty sweet. Thats the DVD cover..me and my friend michelle made a 400 dollar profit off of this deal. Split it in half and we both booked out with 200 smackaroonies!

We first made a trailer and I sent it to a couple buddies via myspace. It became very popular around the school because the movie is about a math teacher in our school named Mr. Salvatore. He was willing to allow us to film him. So after 4 months, we finished the movie. Then it took another 5 months to produce the dvd and we calculated the cost of production (DVD's, inserts, glossy paper, and ink). Then we made a preorder list to see how many people would potentially buy the DVD and people who wanted it, made a payment prior to selling the DVD. And then we sold them the last 2 weeks of June and made a nice cash in. It was a lot of hard work, but it was well worth it.

wow, thats pretty cool, we planned to just upload ours in segments onto youtube.

I've been into film for a couple years now, but I have nothing online or anything.

I spent a couple weeks on a public access tv show two years ago, acting and story boarding at first, then helping produce it in the fall. (For which I managed to snag 300 dollars. Unfortunately I'm not sure if the season ever aired.)

And last summer I spent a month making shorts with about five other people with some nice studio equipment. The first two weeks we made some random improv shorts, then we made a short, more serious film the last two weeks. We only finished a rough cut, and the acting wasn't so great, (mainly because I was the lead), but it was ok.
