Xbox 360 Live Questions?

Hey, I need some help here. Okay. My friend has a Xbox 360 Live account, with 1 Month on it for free that he does NOT use. Is there some way I can use it on my 360? Like, can he transfer it to my Xbox somehow?

And if he transfers the account to my xbox, am I able to go online and play others with that account, since my freind did get 1 month of gold on it?

Can't you just adopt his username and sign in with it on your 360?

I'm not sure (no 360), but I'm guessing you just remove or log out of your account and then log into his on your 360. Then you just use his account and act as though your old one never existed (I'm guessing all of this, I don't even know if you can). If the free month thing is a card and he hasn't used it yet, just enter the code on your 360 and keep your username.

Since when did accounts come with a free month of LIVE?

I had to pay for a 12 Month subscription the moment I got my 360.

You get a free month of gold with the first 5 accounts you setup on any 360 console.
