Solderless? Care to explain? It sounds like this would drastically reduce the chances of destroying the xbox whilst modding. It also sounds like a switch could be added so you could play on live.

Well solderless Mod-Chips for the Xbox have been around for over 6 years.

They use spring loaded pins to make the contacts and are held down with a screw in an existing motherboard hole.

The Xecuter has a switch to turn off/on for live play that can be installed outside of the Xbox.

The HyperX has a switch on it to turn it on/off and I guess you could wire in an external switch if you needed it. It has an Enable/Disable function that you can wire to the power switch also.

Well I was looking for something like this but, well, I need an xbox first.

No point getting ahead of myself. Also, Tim has some aladdin live chips (3-4) but he broke the last xbox modding it, the day after he got it. So I would rather go with these. But the first step is to get an Xbox. If they don't sell I'll PM you if I have a need for them (probably in +1 month).
