I figure that re-writing the EEPROM with the pandora's battery program would fix this, but I can't get either of the programs to work. I followed the instruction to the letter. Does pandora's battery not work on all PSP's? I formatted the memory stick (1gig, might be sony, it's black and copper coloured) and then formatted with Run => "C:\~~etc.~~\mspformat.exe G"
Any help, possibilities, or anything would be appreciated, because this isn't mine.
I had no success with the magical memory stick either (as it's called). After formatting I created the folder PSP, then inside that created the folder GAME. I then placed the folders in the battery and installer folders of pandora.zip into the folder GAME, downloaded the 1.50 update (does anyone have an official release they'll email me?) and renamed that UPDATE.PBF or whatever the ending is. I didn't change that part. That was placed in the root folder.
When I open 'games' on the memory stick, there are 4 choices. Corrupted, Corrupted, Pandora's Battery. Installer, and Pandora's Battery fixer or whatever they're called. It fails to load the game, giving me a "failed to open game" error. Redundant, I know.
I figure the PBD file or whatever it's called isn't good? Can someone send me the pandora.zip and 1.50 update that worked for their pandora's mod? Also, help as to why it isn't working. The memory stick thing was done without the battery installed.
