iPod Delimna

Post by demonofaj »

Hey, I was going to buy an iPod from someone, but apparently there's a problem with it. It's a video iPod, and from what he is saying, it won't turn on. Charging it won't turn it on, or the computer won't register it; he says the hardware is just fine (no bumps, drops, scratches, etc.), so I was wondering if anyone here knew WTF was going on, thanks.

Seconded. The people at the Apple store are usually pretty cool about this sort of thing. About two years ago, my blue iPod mini started acting funky (HDD being stupid), and they replaced it on the spot.

Nope, they're really cool about it. I took my broken one in and they replaced it with no questions asked, no receipt needed.

Buy a broken ipod lot from ebay. Get a bunch of buddies, and one by one take them into mac stores to be replaced. Sell on ebay. Profit!!!

Then my only question is do they replace scratched screens? Cause both of mine unfortunately have noticeable marks.

I'm pretty sure they only replace/repair iPods with technical problems, not cosmetic.

They won't fix screen scratches. My friend tried to get them to replace his nano's screen, and they wouldn't do it.
