So I'm making a NOAC in a nes controller deal like G force made, but in order to wire up my cartridge slot to my super joy III, I need to figure out where pin 1 is on the damn fangled 72 pin connector. I've scoured the forums and the NOAC sticky to no avail. Am I just an idiot?
I know the pinout of my super joy III, but I can't match it up with my 72 pin! If someone can just draw a diagram in MS paint or describe it or something? When I find this out, I can finally finish my first gaming project. I'm new here, so thank you for any help. I picked lm317 for my name because I am a big fan of them since you can make any voltage from 1-37. I think that's pretty neat.

I'm finishing my Genesis portable but I'm just not satisfied with it because there's already a factory made Genesis portable; I'd like to add something to mine (hopefully another portable).
thank you kind sir! that is precisely what I quested for. and yes it is a chore to wire up. I've been doing just a little at a time, and I have to keep taking days off. If I had seen that page about using floppy connectors instead of 72 pins I totally would have done that instead and saved $8, but alas I'm almost done with the 72 pin now too late.
hopefully my NOAC still works and I can post pictures of the finished product some day soon here, I have been keeping the thing on my carpeted floor and who knows if it still works
