I did this because I was going on vacation, and I have a car adaptor for the screen. So anyway, I returned a few days ago and took the whole thing apart again (as this was just the improvised version)
Then I started smallering up the SNES' board, broke it, fixed it, broke it again and I don't know why exactly it isn't working, it worked one time, at the 500th try, and then never again, so I'm really clueless.
Anyway, to the point. I used thirdparty PSX screens for this, 5.6"
The quality of these is okay, not the best but acceptable. what I like is that it consists of 5 small loose boards which you can pretty much stick anywhere (well, obviously after replacing some wires with longer ones)

Anyway, I live in germany and it's rather hard to find cheap screens here. These, however I got from a swiss seller on ebay. Including shipping, they were like 20€ a piece, which is a pretty decent price.
The problem with these screens is that they only accept RGB, otherwise they're small, the five seperate boards make it really compatible to fit in any case. It's beautiful.
However, the seller I got those from went out of business, and as soon as I run out of screens, I'll need an alternative, preferably not too expensive.
Which brings me to the whole point of this thread, has anyone used

a screen like that, or a similar one? If so, how big is the motherboard?
This Screen supports external devices too, and is not RGB-Only, according to the description. If the motherboard isn't as huge as the screen, it would be a really nice alternative.
