A few quick questions. (Please Help)

I have a second monitor and when I put it to the same res as my primary, it doesn't fit the screen...what I mean is the edges don't show and when I move near them, the entire screen shifts to get to the edges. How can I change this?

Also, my laptop's screensaver isn't working. I have changed it four times and it says it's working, but i only get a black screen instead of a screensaver. Any ideas?

you have to ajust your screen mouiter like on your screen theres buttons my lcd has a auto fit button

You're probably setting your monitor to a resolution that exceeds its native resolution.

If you only have a 1024x768 monitor and you set it for 1600x1200 or something, you will only be able to show part of the desktop at any one time.

Is it possible that you have your power settings set to turn off the display at the same time or before your screen save comes up? Check your power management settings.

yes. I believe this is more true (only true?) for LCD monitors though. Ive never seen it happen on a CRT.

Yeah, you're right. I just assumed it was LCD because that's what everyone seems to be using these days. (Not that I think LCDs are better)

CRTs are analog and will try to keep up with whatever resolution you throw at it, though not always with very good success.
