I recorded some gameplay footage at a gaming tournament held at the college here in April with it. The problem: I can only record one source at a time. After all, it's only one card. It was so hectic in there that I was only able to record the finals of 2 out of 7 games, when I originally wanted to get the semis and the finals of every game. The other problem I had was the computer I was working with... but, that's another story.
There's another tournament that's going to be about 10 times bigger than the last one coming up September 7th. (Heh... September... I love Earth, Wind & Fire...
) I don't really have any money, but I need a card/multiple cards capable of capturing more sources at once. The biggest reason for this is so I can record 16 way split screen for the Halo tournament. 
Anyway, I found out that PCI capture cards for security camera DVRs are cheap and commonly have at least 4 channels. A lot of security camera footage you see is usually in black and white and has a low frame rate. But this isn't the card. This is usually due either the DVR settings or the cameras. A little eBay hunting has found me these babies that are all over for only $4.95. Add in shipping and it's still under $15. They have MPEG-4 compression (I think?), support all 4 cameras simultaneously recording, have an audio input, come with software, support 640x480 resolution, 25 FPS, COLOR and have a few other security camera features that don't concern me. They also have surprisingly low system requirements that actually kinda scare me...The fact of the matter is, they accept 4 channels of full resolution composite video (I just need a few BNC to composite adapters). So this is what I need to know... what's wrong with them? Is this what I need? What makes them be able to sell these things for 5 bucks when any other SINGLE CHANNEL capture card costs far more? The 150 MCE does have a TV tuner and a pretty retail box... but so what? What am I missing? Can someone read through that eBay listing and tell me what I'm not understanding? It seems like such a good deal, but I don't want it to NOT be what I need.

Edit: Or, should I go for something like this that's a bit more expensive, but actually looks like a card that's up to the task. The catch on the other one might be that it only records 30(or 25)FPS (which means 1 channel at a time). 4 channel cards that can record on all 4 channels at once at full frame rate usually say 120FPS like the one I just linked to. The description for the cheaper one is misleading... I thought it could record at 120FPS... but does it really look like it can to you guys? I mean... the more expensive one has friggin' heat sinks.
