I think it is good for a portable if you want a HUGE screen. This would honestly be better for my "Second Screen" idea. Basically you make a screen interface with a laptop so you can use it as a portable second screen. This would be great for unused icons or to reduce clutter, etc.

I am going to use a 7" screen that I bought for my 2600 project, I plan on making it like one of those folding gameboys I forget what they are called but you know what I mean.
