Starting Windows on TV

Post by Kurt_ »

I have a Geforce 6200 something graphics card. I uninstalled the "Default Monitor" hardware profile.

I want windows to start up on the TV. But the TV only displays an image when the computer is started with a monitor attached to the card as well as the composite output.

What causes this and how do I fix it? It wasn't giving me this problem before.
Hey, sup?

unplug the tv and use the monitor....jk.you could just trick it into thinking it has the monitor there by leaving the vga cable plugged in or something. My friend is really good with this stuff, but hes on vacation right now unless id ask him. Ill find out for you tomorrow when he comes back. :)

I presume the graphics card is set as dual monitor therefore. Set up the system with the computer monitor as default "1" and tv as secondary "2". when the monitor and tv work, change the default "1" for the tv; then reboot. This might solve the issue and allow you to remove the monitor. When you reboot, you need to do a cold boot rather than a warm boot.
