Cheaper PS3 = Possible Ben Heck laptop?

If you haven't heard, the PS3 is getting a 100 dollar price slash as of July 12th. I could understand Ben not modding the poo out of one to make a laptop before now, but now that its basically the same cost as an Xbox 360 Elite, which he is making a laptop out of, I don't see why he wouldn't make one. ANd hopefully he'll post a detailed how to, so those out there with deep pockets can feel free to make a sweet PS3 laptop. If they took the time to install Linux, it would even be usable as an actual computer!

I think it might be better to wait until Sony releases a PS3 Slim in a few years (You know it'll happen

The PS3's insides are way too huge to make into a laptop without some serious modding.

Ya but expect microsoft to respond inmediatly and slash it down. (seriously they have been capable of doing it for a while now, they were just waiting for sony to do so.) if microsoft does do it though. The wii wil also NEED one or else it's screwed

The Wii is already small, why would we need a slimmer one (Just like the so called PStwo Slim)

EDIT: Haha, well the Wii is the cheapest anyway...and $250 is a fine price. I could see it go down to $200 maybe...

ahh why would the Wii need a price cut? Stores are having a hard time keeping them on the shelves at the current price.
