Car power adaptor for Gamecube

How can I build a Gamecube car power adaptor?

Since I had no warning my great uncle was gonna die, I have no time/enough money to order next day delivery for one online.

Can I just wire the Gamecube power input to the fuse of the Disembowled cell phone charger with nothing in between, since Gamecube is 12v and the car plug in is 12v.

If there has to be somthing in between them plz tell me what I should put there.

And does anyone know if the fuse in most if not all Car chargers are the same rateing?

Im pretty sure they are, but im just checking for safety.

EDIT:Nevermind, no they dont.
Im gonna need to get a 7amp one for a Gamecube, the one in my ds charger is 1 amp, that would blow quickly lol, gamecube runs on 3.25 amps.
